My name is Mermaid Azalea and I am a professional mermaid based out of Los Angeles, CA. My name and tail come from the purplish pink Azalea flower, which is renowned for its beauty, but also highly toxic, as is any good siren who lures her pirates to the sea. I provide enchanting entertainment for both underwater and dry land events. You can catch me in a tank, boat, pool, beach, or even flopping around land!
Since I was a young girl, I have always been drawn to water. I would spend my summers growing up swimming in my backyard pool, or playing in the waves at the beach. I first scuba dove in the Great Barrier Reef in 2006, and since then I have gotten the opportunity to get up close and personal with all kinds of marine life including turtles, dolphins, sharks, sting rays, and even swimming with whale sharks.
When I'm on land for several hours and my tail dries up, I grow legs and love to dance! But when I'm underwater, I feel free... free to move with the rhythm of the ocean and more connected to our beautiful planet. Whether on land or underwater, I love performing and creating excitement for those watching. I have nine years of experience working with children, and am also PADI scuba certified. My mission as a mermaid is to provide joy and enchantment to people of all ages, and help make sure our oceans and marine life stay safe and clean.
